Energy boost smoothie 

Need an energy boost smoothie to start you day? 

With fasting I have found when You eat a heavy breakfast such as bread or wheat, You’re hungry at 10am. So I have tested a couple recipes which I will share with you over the next month to help you with those hunger pangs and also give u good energy. I try and use super foods and ingredients that release energy slowly into ur system which leaves me having loads of energy even at the end of the day. 

What u will need? 

2 bananas 

5 dates 

20g toasted almonds 

100g yogurt 

50 ml juice or milk 

Method 

1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and drink chilled. 

This recipe is so versatile, you can add any fruits you like, dried or fresh with amazing fresh herbs like mint to shake up the flavor. 

I used dates as a sweetener, Dates are Great for: Weight loss. Relieving constipation, supporting regular bowel movements. Promoting heart health, reducing heart disease risk. Diarrhea. Iron-deficiency anemia. Reducing blood pressure. Impotence. Promoting respiratory and digestive health. You can change it up by using honey, dried cranberries or added glucose.
