Marie biscuit squares

Perfect for a Ramadaan treat or a snack the kids will love. Try it let me know what u think 

What you will need?

1 pkt marie biscuit crushed into chunky pieces.not too fine.

100g butter

2 TBS golden syrup

1 level TBS cocoa powder

2 TBS condensed milk

2 level TBS icing sugar

Cadbury milk choc 2x 80g (melted) for spreading.

Milky bar for drizzling

METHOD

1. In a pot over medium heat melt butter till lightly golden then add golden syrup,cocoa and condensed milk and icing sugar. Mix with a wooden spoon until it’s smooth and till mixture starts too bubble.

2.Add biscuits to mixture in pot.mix thoroughly on a low heat.

3.Pour this mixture into a greased tray, press down with a greased jug until even and smooth. Spread melted milk choc over and allow mixture to set.

4. For garnish drizzle melted milky bar, using a sharp knife cut into small blocks.

NB.It is best to store container in fridge to maintain its chewy consistency.

I always make a triple batch and use the enamel oven baking tray
